Images of Canyon Lake Texas as it reached the lowest lake levels since it was impounded in 1968. At 892.65 feet, it has surpasses the previous lowest elevation when the lake reached 892.68 feet on Sept. 9, 2009.
This resulted in the closing of all but 3 boat ramps around the lake, just ahead of the Labor Day Weekend tourist rush.
